Itinerary

Day 1: Dalat - Lak (165 km – 5 hours riding)

Your Easy Rider Tour Guide(s) will meet and greet you at the hotel where you stay in Dalat. You put on your safety riding gears while the guide(s) strap your luggage on the back of the motorcycles. We then set off for our exciting motorcycle tour by visiting the must-see highlights of the Dalat, including Crazy House, Dalat Former Railway Station, Dragon Pagoda. Next, it’s off to the remote countryside where you can enjoy the scenic view of the terrace fields and broaden your knowledge of how the locals make a living on their farms producing vegetables, flowers, coffee, mushrooms. Enjoy the winding mountain rides while you take in all the fabulous scenery. Take a break at a beautiful restaurant on the mountain pass and taste some delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

We have some time to trek through the lush green rainforests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking nature of the Central Highlands. Ride through the vast rice fields and observe the rice agriculture of the M'nong ethnic minority people as well as enjoy their smiling faces coming home from their fields. 

We arrive at our beautiful hotel that faces Lak Lake in the early evening, check-in, and stay overnight.

Awake to the sounds of the rural village, enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee as you watch the morning activities of the M'nong Ethnic Minorities, heading to the fields or rowing their wooden boats to fish on the lake. We'll take a walk through Jun Village to experience the rustic M’nong’s traditional culture and their daily life. Resume back on the motorbike and ride through the small charming villages. We then trek to the peak of the Elephant Rock Mountain and enjoy the feeling of being in nature, a fascinating panoramic view of the whole village. Stop at the brick factory and learn how the hard-working locals produce bricks in their old traditional way.

Head to Dray Sap waterfall via the scenic winding jungle paths, we witness the massive waterfall of the highlands. The natural “Fairy Pool” nearby is well-worth for swimming after an awesome day riding a motorbike. The traditional Long House in the jungle of the highlanders is the place we stay overnight. Our dinner is full of excitement with BBQs and rice cooked in the bamboo tubes.

Day 3: Dray Sap Waterfall - Bao Loc (160 km - 5 hours riding)

After breakfast, we embark on the fantastic ride along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, navigating through some of the most dramatic landscapes of the Central Highlands. We take in the scenic sights of the region and visit the rustic village to learn what the locals do for a living, enjoy their natural hospitality, and broaden the knowledge about their strength to battle for freedom during the Vietnam War.

Today's ride is a great opportunity for you to explore some of the unspoiled natural scenic beauties which haven't been touched by tourism. We embrace the final leg of our ride through the winding mountain pass to Bao Loc with many photo opportunities, including the stunning terraced rice paddy fields and tea farms. We arrive at our beautiful hotel at about 05:00 pm. Check-in and have a great night here.

Day 4: Bao Loc - Mui Ne (170 km - 5 hours riding)

After having a nice breakfast at our hotel, we resume our bike ride through the isolated villages and magnificent countryside. We wind our way to Da Mi Hydro Electricity where you'll enjoy the magnificent view from the summit of the mountain. You will then get to experience how the locals processing cashew nuts in their traditional way.

Our next visit is at K’ho ethnic minority village in the remote mountainous region, you'll witness the rural life of the locals that you might not believe still exists in this modern world. We continue our Easy Rider Tour to Ta Zon and enjoy the amazing ride through the great wide-open roads before visiting the highlights of the Mui Ne area, such as White Sand Dunes, Fairy Springs, and Fishing Village. We arrive at the hotel of your choice before sunset and finish our motorbike adventure!

FAQs

How can I travel to Dalat?
You can travel to Dalat from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) by flight or bus. There are several buses leaving Saigon for Dalat every hour.

There are also flights and buses from Da Nang to Dalat if you travel from Hoi An. There is no train though.
What time does the tour start?
We normally start the tour at about 08:30 am. Your Easy Riders meet and pick you up at the hotel/hostel where you stay in Dalat. We can also collect you at the bus station or airport if you arrive on the morning of your start date.
Will you show us the highlights of Dalat before leaving the city?
Yes, Easy Riders Vietnam will show you all the must-see sights of Dalat before leaving the city. If you already visited the sights, then please let us know, we will then skip those.
When is the best time to travel in Vietnam?
We recommend you to travel from November to May as the weather sunny and warm. There is a monsoon from June to October
